Mobile Suit Gundam is a Japanese media franchise popularized by the numerous anime and manga series that take place within the universe of the franchise. Centuries after the "Calamity War", the people of Mars clamor for independence from Earth rule. They could not know that by doing so, a chain of events would erupt that will bring chaos, doom and hope to not only themselves, but the entire solar system.
